Where do we start. Two windows in the lounge are leaking when it rains heavily, which is all the time in Autumn and Winter. We stayed for a month. There are whole range of basic things missing in the kitchen, like oven mittens, aprons, etc. Artwork and coat racks attached with Velcro fell down. Very temperamental and old dishwasher, which was fixed only temporarily. Two or three decorative lamps not working, and Dayget despite being told about it, did not fix them during our stay. Internet is very basic if you like to stream movies and TV series through streaming services. Beds are comfortable and clean. Lounges are comfortable. The place obviously lacks main and small regular maintenance. The place is a bit neglected. You look at a ridiculously ugly shed from the lounge room. Bench on front porch is broken, so you have to be very careful where you sit when you take your shoes off. They charge a lot of money and provide little value. They do not refill the toilet paper, so you have to go and get your own. It has been a very disappointing stay.
You can have your dog, but be prepared for accommodation that is a bit substandard. Not sure why Daylesford holiday home owners offer such accommodation to pet owners, when you have 5 star hotels all over Australia offering your pampered dog or cat stunning accommodation and service.
